Safari will cache the image if it's 0 opacity though, i believe. Not if it's hidden, but if it still "takes up space" but has 0 opacity, it's cached.

I should've been a bit clearer. from within a widget, can you manipulate other open widgets?

like the inGrid widget..it doesn't work for me,but for some people, widgets actually align to the grid. ...

that's a good point. I couuld imagine it working, but i'd suggest one thing.

the widget should use a bit of js to ensure that an internet connection exists, then downloads the latest javascript. ...

which is a shame. we could have widgets check bank-balances .. there should be a switch (or some registry value) where you can disable auto-complete simply to manually complete a form for a website.

I have a frame loaded with a local page, and it allows me (via javascript) to have it load up a remote website.

But once its on the remote website, for security reasons, javascript wont' let me put ...
