| Does anyone know how to add new cities to apple's weather widget. I want to find a small town in France ... it comes up on the accuweather site, but the widget doesn't seem to find it.. |

Hi,
I took a look at the code of the weather widget and it seems that this widget is using a dedicated URL http://apple.accuweather.com/adcbin/apple/Apple_find_city.asp?location= to check if the city you typed exists or not. However after a few tests I found out that the apple webpage does not recognise all the cities available on the normal website...
God knows why !
So unfortunately you will not be able to know the weather in your specific place...
Or you'll need to add severe changes to the widget.
Sorry,
Sebastien
Private joke, sorry english speakers...
Putain ils ont même pas St Etienne sur ce site alors qu'ils ont des bleds perdus au trou du cul du monde... Ce n'est que justice qu'on ne puisse pas connaitre le temps à Aas finalement... |

| The weather widget is very limited - I had Manila selected and thought it was weird that the icon displayed a moon image when it was in the middle of the day. I realized that it wasnt displaying the weather in Manila, Philippines -- probably it was Manila in Mexico or Columbia. Pretty useless this widget -- wat gives Apple! |
