Guys, can anything be done to improve the speed of the site? This is probably the best widget site, but the speed is crippling, causing many people to come and then never return. I've recommended the site to a few friends, but they say they won't come back until the speed improves.
Where is the site hosted, and what's the connection like? I'd also recommend finding a way to create smaller preview pics of the widgets, since TONS of unused data is being sent.
I also run a website (not a widget site), and I know how hard it can be. I want to see DashboardWidgets.com be THE place for widgets, so let me know if you need any help and I'll see what I can do.
