Hi,

I'm working on a custom SMS widget for our local CZ SMS gateway. One of the features I am implementing is auto-completion of previously used phone numbers. It's a semi-transparent pop-up looks and works almost identically to auto-completion in Safari location bar or Google search field.

(Please don't mention AddressBook integration now. It's being worked on, but that quite another feature. Let's stick to this auto-completion thing.)

The problem is - you can easily mistype a number and once it gets saved, there is no way getting rid of it. That might not be such a problem with Safari but in the context of the phone numbers, it's very annoying.

Does anybody have a neat idea of what is the most consistent, OS X-style way of getting rid of the entries? Somehow having a small x button next to each entry? Or having a purge-history button at the back of the widget?

What do you all creative guys think?
