Here's a little feature we've been scheming for a long time and should get going after the release of iCompositions 3. It should satisfy what you're looking for.
We'd like to integrate a way into DashboardWidgets of showing you the widgets that you've downloaded and have since been updated. Our plan is to give you a non-obtrusive flag (perhaps by changing the title-bar green, or badging the screenshot or title with an "Updated!" graphic) so you can see which widgets you might want to update. You'll also be able to browse only those updated widgets if you desire. We'll add options to turn the feature off for a single widget or turn the feature off entirely.

This is good news...
I, probably like many others, already use an updater widget, but it would be nice not to even have to call up the updater widget. Sounds great! |
