So I needed to translate a few words, so I opened the Translation widget. Immediately, I could see something was wrong with it (See Figure 1).

So I tried typing into it, and it wouldn't allow me to. Then I tried changing the language. The top list I could change, but the bottom one, labeled 'undefined' in Figure 1 only displayed English.

Next, I tried hitting the squigley arrow button to switch the languages, and they both came up as English (see Figure 2). If I hit it again, then it comes up as Chinese, and cycles through these two languages.

Anyone know how to help? I already restarted my Dashboard by typing 'killall Dock' into terminal.

Try deleting the widget's preferences (make sure it's closed first).

Delete:
~/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.translation.plist

That should reset it to it's default state.
