Downloads are not current versions

I downloaded the CharacterPal widget, then immediately downloaded the Widget Update widget. The Widget Update widget told me that the version of CharacterPal installed (2.0) was not the current version (2.01). Why is the download file for CharacterPal not the current version?

The developer likely didn't change the version number in the widget's Info.plist file. Just tell Widget Update to mark it as installed.
