What would you folks consider the best approach to storing data in a widget? I've considered using sqlite but then my computer is so customized I don't think they have that (with it's ruby bindings) on the default osx setup. So far, I'm using a folder the widget creates in ~/.widgetdatafolder but that's a bit cumbersome and doesn't offer me nice sorting of the data. Is there a way to store data in XML?

Oh, and btw, I guess if you've read all you understood that I'm using ruby for my widget.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
