Hi folks,

I'm trying to create a widget to read the ADSL usage stats from my ISP account.
The ISP offers an https login which uses a cookie.
So far I've been unable to make the widget 'cookie' aware. I can make the js work in Safari, but only if I've already got the cookie from the site.

I've been using xmlhttprequest to post the data so far, but I'm getting the impression that this can't handle cookie negotiation. Anyone any experience or suggestions ? Smile

I was doing something similar a few months ago and believe I took the easy way out and went with using `curl', rather than trying to figure it out using XMLHttpRequest.

Have you got any examples of what you did with curl? I'm pretty new to all this - it took me a while to get the hang of this way, so changing is a bit daunting Embarassed
