| How about a page that has a list of All the widgets (not just 10, but you could choose how many you wanted to see) and how many times they've been downloaded. |

dotmac.info handles that pretty well. Each user can specify three blocks down the side. I choose Most Recent (of all types), Highest Rated This Month (of all types, only ones submitted this month) and Most Recently Commented On.
Obviously the sections/blocks would need to be tweaked to be relevant to site like this were widgets are updated rather than just new ones added every time. But I really like the dotmac.info way of doing things, so perhaps the site admins here can take a look and get some ideas.
(not that this site isn't great, it just doesn't have user-selectable 'Top' lists yet) |

For those that are interested, here are the top five downloaded widgets as of right now:
1. US Weather+
2. miniPatience
3. Capture
4. Fast Amazon
5. Wikipedia
If you think that a certain widget should have a higher download rate - just tell your friends about it! Just remember that repeated downloads are not tolerated in mass and offending users will face disciplinary action from the site administration. You wouldn't believe the amount of crap we get to deal with in a day with issues like this.

| I would love this feature as well. Its interesting to see which type of widgets get downloaded the most, such as the ones that are exclusive to this website. |
