Fun & Games - Magic Widget

Description: this is another magic 8 ball widget. It featurs some animation when click to reveal the answer to a question. It also increases in size when revealing the answer for easier reading. The initial size is nice and small. Developed by Alwin Troost.

WHAT?? This is a great widget, but dashboardwidgets.com seems to be a little behind the times! I downloaded version 1.2 of this widget over a month ago! Why does the download link to version 1.0? This is baffling.

That's what was submitted to DBW. This is the first version of this particular widget submitted to DBW so you could be thinking of the other Magic 8 Ball widgets.

Hm. I don't mean to be a tool here, but I'm absolutely *positive* that this is the the same "Magic Widget" by Mr. Troost (hats off to you, sir, by the way). In fact, I have it open on my dashboard right now, flipped over, and it says "Magic Widget 1.2". Strange that an older version would have been submitted to DBW. Stranger still, I just visited Mr. Troost's wdgets site, and there is no mention of it there at all. Odd. I must have downloaded the newer version from macupdate.

Again, I think this is a most clever and entertaining widget, perfectly suited to my 12 in. screen. I guess I would just hope more people have access to an updated and improved version of this widget through DBW.

P.S. I've tried the other Magic 8 Ball widgets: none of them comes close to the functionality and elegance of this one.

Well that's an odd question. Because he didn't post it there?

If you have version 1.2 send it to me at mtlgetz@comcast.net, and I will update this submission. This is version 1.1. For some reason the version number posted incorrectly (I think I entered it correctly.) I no longer have any newer versions.
