System Utilities - MiniBatteryStatus

Description:

MiniBatteryStatus widget monitors battery status and charge percentage. It displays colorful information to quickly notice your battery conditions.

The widget assumes different colors depending on the remaining charge of the battery. It is also aware of battery charging and plugged status. User can choose if the widget should display percentage, remaining time, battery capacity (current/maximum) or just the charge gauge clicking on the widget.

MiniBatteryStatus tells you when it's time to recharge your battery and when recharge is complete by Growl event notification system

Updated interface and preference pane on the back. The widget is now fully functional with periodic reminders that pop up, eliminated after registration.

Hi,
MiniBatteryStatus widget is released as shareware; the widget uses the Mac serial number just to perform registration. Learn more at

Why do you check the status all the time, also when the Dashboard is hidden?
You only need that when you use the notification, don't you?

Actually there isn't a way to disable notifications. I could provide a preference to disable notifications, thus avoiding unnecessary overhead when Dashboard is hidden. I didn't do it because I didn't receive such a request from users before.

Does it send the serial number back to you?

Nope, it just displays it in the back. It is only sent when you click on the "Register" link.
