This is a very well-done widget. Nice job!

Very nice...the only thing is you can't cycle through multiple finds...for example, i typed in "pop" looking for U2's album of that name and got something by enya. couldn't find a way to find the u2 cover....

Lordryan - did you try searching for "u2 pop"? That should have found it.

this widget went amok and was sucking a constant (w/dashboard visible or hidden) 54% of my resources. i'd like an option to use current tracks and maybe even use the smaller cd cover image-- i like the idea of covers, but don't like the idea of bloating mp3 size... mostly i'd like it not to go amoke though.

This is the best album art widget out there. It's so easy to get the art and the fact that you can cycle through choices is perhaps my favorite feature of all.

My only suggestion is that you make it an option to search with the artist, rather then by default. Nice job, and I look forward to future versions.

Still takes about 90% cpu when active...

Would be nice if the name of the widget in the plist was the same as the name that you call it. The short name amazon art does not work with widget updater.

I'm still working hard to eliminate the excessive CPU usage issue that some users are seeing. In the meantime, anyone wishing to help tackle it can head for our bugtracker system: http://www.widget-foundry.com/bugs/view.php?id=1

Thanks,

OK - CPU usage bug finally cracked, we hope! Go get it!

The name you give the file in the plist does not mach what you call this widget. This makes it so the Widget Update widget does not work. Please change the name in the plist so it will work with widget update. Or you can change the name of the application to match the plist.

WOW....amazing album (Stars of CCTV)

I had seen this widget before I went to England (for about a month) and never really realized what band that was. But I bought that album, and now this widget is 20 times cooler!

Works great, but something about its search feature makes it unable to find some things that I can find if I search on Amazon.com. For example, v2.7 fails to find anything for "surprise paul simon," but a search on Amazon.com returns that album as the first hit. Also, I'm curious why this widget sometimes returns album art that has bigger dimensions than I can find anywhere on Amazon.com itself (I guess that's good, but still it makes me wonder, because it makes me think that maybe the inverse also occurs). I'd like it if this allowed one to search on selected album, not just the currently playing album, even though it's pretty easy to select all tracks of the album and choose the selected tracks option. Finally, wish it displayed the dimensions of the image that it found, because I can't see any other way to determine whether it found a small or large image, and if it's a small image, I'd like it to provide a Google search link, similar to the way it does when it can't find the album. Oh, and one other thing--it would be very cool if it provided a button to capture the search info from the album or track selected in iTunes. That way I wouldn't have to type that info in myself.
