Miscellaneous - Chicago Crime Watch

Description: This widget can monitor any of the city blocks serviced by http://chicagocrime.org - one of the first Google Maps mashups. Due to the infrequent updates to the crime data, this widget caches data for a minimum of six hours, and it checks to see whether it should update automatically, when the Dashboard layer is shown.
The widget also checks network connectivity to prevent hangups.
