Counters - US Wounded

Description: From DemocracyWidgets.org, this widget shows the current number of US wounded in the Iraq war. It is the second in a planned series of widgets related to the war.

Advances in body armor and army field hospitals have led to an increased survival rate among soldiers compared to previous wars. However, many more soldiers are returning home having lost limbs in injuries that would have killed them a generation ago. I hope that this widgets raises awareness of the support that these disabled veterans will need.

Now that's a good way of looking at it. If it does just that, I'll give it a 5 for functionality then.

Now SiliconX, you are the grammar police . . . that's "rediculous" (SiliconX posting under U.S. Casualties).

If you took the split second to open your eyes, you'd see that I posted BOTH comments. I was correcting my own grammar.

SiliconX-- don't be so sensitive. I saw that you wrote both. I thought (based on your tone for the other Iraq war widgets) you were disparaging the quotation from the website in your previous post. I apologize for the misinterpretation, but the sequence was not very clear. Perhaps if you "took a split second to open your eyes" you would see the lack of clarity in your writing.
