Math & Science - Calorie Tracker

Description: This is the best way to track how many calories that you gain by eating food. This displays the amount of calories, fat, proteins... from the nutrition facts label on the sides of all food. Our new and improved interface makes it easier to navigate the lists of food and also gives many more intuitive options that will be very useful when counting calories taken in from food.

Export
Export your calculations now as text and csv files to keep track on your own. Also download food information as text files so you can easily share health information with others. Cut & Look modes allow easier entries into your calorie calculator now located in its own side window for easier use.

Graph
Graph your intake. Now all the data put into your calculator will be graphed so you can see what should or should not be consumed. You can also see a graph view of each individual food item. Graphs help track anything you want!

Quick Look
With the new Quick Look and Cut modes you can now easily enter any food entry, click the look button and now you can cut any information into your calculator or any program. This takes the step of writing down your information out of the equation and makes life simpler.

Only the top portion of the widget shows up. You therefore cannot look at any information in the main window.

Wow! This widget doesn't work (unless you are interested in CHEESE) All it shows is cheese. I tried to search by inserting Steak in the search field. What did I get....NOTHING but sure as heck up came cheese again! CHEESE ...who cares about cheese anyway???It would be nice if it at least showed Cheese WiZ at least.

A demo widget? Are you kidding?

Terrific demo. It doesn't work: you still can't see the main part of the window. I'm not sure what the author means by "fixed". Even if it worked, I can't get over this widget being a demo. I haven't been too in touch but the widget world, but charging money for a widget hadn't occurred to me.

If you cant see the main window make sure you have updated your software to 10.4.4 and have fully expaned the window by clicking on the white bar at the bottom of the widget. As far as searching in the widget it states "Here are the following demo limitations. Only able to search a limited list of foods. Blocked access to the USDA database that has over 75,000 foods. This includes, processed foods, natural foods and even fast food." Meaning you can only search within the list of foods presented.

HAH!!!! I guess that means you want me to pay for this widget...well if you want to charge you should at least mention that in your description of the widget. In addition you should give the user(s) the fair opportunity to try it with ALL features so they can make a FAIR evaluation of your product. As it stands now your widget does NOT work properly and all we the Mac users have is your"say so" that it will work once we give you our money. That doesn't sound fair to me and I am sure the others who evaluate your widget will agree with me.

If only I could see how this widget would be useful. Shouldn't I be able to search for, say, 10 days and then remove the functionality so I can atleast evaluate my daily diet and see if this widget is worth the $$$?

This is practically bait & switch tactics by not saying this is "crippleware".
