Cute, but needs:

- a way to stop the auto fireworks without shutting down the widget--it keeps sounding off when Dashboard is hidden

- a way to set auto-firework prefs--e.g., how many per minute/second, what colors, maybe even patterns

- a way to minimize--this thing takes up major real estate, and again, short of shutting it down, you can't change that. Personally, I don't like having to search for a widget in my long controller list in order to use it. It should minimize like Wimic does.

- a way to make it suck up far less CPU time when it is on, esp. in the background.

I guess for now, it's only a widget that you can really use if you're willing to start up and shut down every time--keeping it on perpetually is unworkable.

I can never wait until the 4th of July- so why not have it year round. And so IanTheMacFan I hope you enjoy the widget in February. smiley

And to add one more thing- you released a Holloween countown in JANUARY, so... you have no room to be questioning other developers release dates. At lease mine is closer.
