Awesome widget! Worked flawlessly with my Cingular account! Could be smaller but very functional!

Smaller?? You want *SMALLER*?? Fine! Version 1.2 will let you scale the widget to 50% of it's size. How's *THAT* Mr. Jones? Any more suggestions are welcome smiley

Smaller would be nice. Also more readable font. I would say loose some of the other graphics.

I think all the options to add should be done on the back.

A simple line with the minute information would be great!

Oops! You missed my last post! Smaller option's in the works, but the super cool spectacular graphics are here to stay, but in smaller form!
Super-Hidden-Feature - Clicking "MobileMinutes" will collapse the widget! smiley SUPER!

Doesn't seem to work with Nextel though, which makes me sad smiley

Great idea though, really nice widget.

Nextell support, you say? Send me an e-mail (should be available through my profile) and we'll get it working for ya!

Paranoia feature is about finished, Cingular bug has been fixed, Go Phone support is being added, as well!

what about tmobile support?

Posted by: vgoklani on Mar 08, 06 (5:28 AM) for version 1.1 (current version)

T-Mobile? I considered them, but I saw via their website that you can send a text-message to #MIN# and it'll send you your minutes. If you're hankerin' for T-Mobile support, then contact me and we'll get it hammered out for ya!

Great widget! Ran into one problem. I have two phone numbers listed under my one verizon account. They are not a family plan, they are two seperate plans. However, the widget lists the two phone numbers and at the top lists a third entry as "family plan". It lists the exact same amount of minutes as the first phone number listed.

Also, I added another verizon account (for two total). However, it doesn't display that number. It says it is getting the information, but it doesn't display it. :-(

One more thing...any plans to add txt message counts?

Doesn't work with Sprint. Logs in then, only the "bar" shows up, with nothing beneath it, no minutes, no account, nothing. If I quite it and restart all I get is the bar. To bad I was looking forward to this to try and monitor my teenage kids usage. Hope there's a fix soon.

Doralive,
Attempted to contact you via E-Mail but I received no response. The widget *does* work with Sprint, just not your Sprint, obviously smiley To remedy, send me an E-Mail and we can get to work.

***** NOTE *****
You must be using the latest version of TIGER because 10.4.2 (and maybe 10.4.3) has a bug that won't display the graphics properly, meaning that the option to choose a carrier isn't available.

I've been trying both version 1.1 and 1.0 and can't get this widget to work with my Verizon account. Verizon has recently (within the last month or so) updated their online account access website so that is probably the cause of the problem. I'll enter all my information and the widget will hang at "fetching account information." I've left it running for 10 minutes or so and nothing happens. When I leave Dashboard and come back my information has been lost and I have to create the account again and never get any information.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I was using another widget to check my account status but since the website change that widget too has stopped working and it doesn't look like the developer is actively working on the project anymore.

Doesn't seem to work with Spring - could be to changes in their site.

Posted by: vgoklani on Jul 23, 06 (7:25 AM) for version 1.1 (current version)

I'm having trouble getting this widget to work. I entered my mobile phone number, and the password I use to log on to the Cingular online account status website, where I can check my minutes and such. The widget just hangs after I enter my password and click the check-mark button.

Can anyone give me an idea of what I might be doing wrong? Do I enter the phone number as a contiguous string of numbers, or should I format the number a particular way? Is it something else entirely?

This would be a great widget...if it worked.

I'm still having trouble using Cingular accounts. I can enter my account information okay, but the widget fails to display any data related to the accounts.

I hope this is fixed soon as it could easily become my favorite and most used widget.

Froze up repeatedly and took about three installs and uninstalls just to be able to enter in all of my data. Then I keep getting messages back that my username and password are wrong. So I check them on the Verizon site, yep I'm typing in the correct username and password. Maybe Verizon changed something since this widget version came out?

Would probably be a great widget if it worked.
