I figured out what my problem was.
1. don't use feed://
2. sometimes the url safari uses (in general) to find the rss feed may not be the actual url that rssbean (or any other reader) would use.

It works now..and works fine.

one feature request, though would to be able to scale the height of the reader.
do that, and it'll be perfect.

Good idea but it only reads feeds created in XML, I can't get it to read any feeds created by php, such as: feed://

The correct way to author an RSS feed from dynamic content with PHP is to set a forced type for the specific file in the .htaccess file on the server, then PHP will parse the XML file, but send the correct MIME header for the RSS feed.

<Files showcase.xml>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php

The above file would then be parsed as PHP.

In summary this is a website issue you need to contact the webmaster.

So far I can get only one feed to work. This was suggested by Xia (The author of RSSBean) over at VersionTracker. I'd like to grab the feed off of, but no matter what URL I try, nothing seems to work. It is not just that site. I can't get the feed on any site to work except Can anyone post other URLs that work in RSSBean?

A truly great widget!
A great feature would be the possibility to save a list of rss feeds in a popup on the front. So as to only need one widget open.

Tip for swedish users!
Use this feed without the '<>' to get all the swedish news from all the papers at once.
Change the number '50' to any amount you want.

This is an amaizing widget but it could use:
- a refresh button
- a favorites/recent feeds menu

If it had that it would be the only RSS widget I'd ever need.

Can anyone help me getting this thing to work? It will work for every feed I've tried except from the ones from

I've tried changing "feed" to http but that didn't work. I just want to know if their web site is bad, or I just an stupid.
But other than that I think it works pretty well, so I gave it a 5.
Thank you
