Very handy, I hadn't thought of that even though I use ifconfig all the time. The design could use a bit of refinement in future versions, but it works great. One feature request: right now you have to remember which instance corresponds to which interface. It'd be handy to see "en0" or "en1" on the front side, or better yet let me name the instance "ethernet", "airport", etc. Also, I just noticed that it doesn't seem to be saving its preferences for each instance persistently (across reboots). See Apple's widgets for an example of how to use the widget identifier in the persistent key name...
