This ambient email notifier for Dashboard shows a vase of flowers with an added flower for each new email or for new emails from a particular sender or subject. Four colors allows color coded vases for different filters. Supports both Apple Mail and Gmail!

It would be great to be able to customize the flowers too... And if maybe clicking a flower took you to your inbox.

Starting up mail every tm ethe widget is called makes the widget useless to check Apple Mail.

As a Gmail notifier it works, but four flowers max is a somewhat limiting flw. Although, to be fair, I don't really need to know how many emails, just that I have them.

Having an ad on the back is reason enough for me to delete it off the computer. I don't mind a subtle donate link, but a big Target ad and a "BUY NOW" button that is larger than the OK (should be "Done"smiley button, is just unaccepatble. I'm sorry, I am a poor pert-time programer too, but I will not use something that advertises to me like that, not when there are half a dozen alternatives.
