Excellent, that`s one sort of widgets that are really useful. Thank you, I like it from the start. It`s already much handier than the application I`m used to use, which (beside the drawback of being an actual application) has two advantages:
*It has a vertical bar (maybe you could add a button to rotate 90°?)
* It can display the pixel-amount the mouse is from the 0-point. I know, that`s difficult to implement in JS.

My idea was to implement a preference on the opacity; I discovered that I like it more with an opacity of 0.8.

Again, thanks for the great work.

Um, this would be great but I'm holding a real CM ruler up to my screen and this widget is way off.

Maybe you could make the ruler longer, like 1024 px or something. Now it's only 600 px and who's is running his mac with 600x800 px today??

Its not meant to be a measurement of the physical screensize! Try measuring the ruler in Photoshop, its off too!

Wish it'll be adjustable so that it'll match the actual physical ruler, so that it can be set once and leave the actual ruler at home/office.

The rulers in Photoshop (and most other good graphics apps) can be calibrated to the screen. I think this is an essential feature to make this very nice little widget really useful.

I'd really like to be able to stretch it out, or compress it for that matter. Constrained to 600 pixels, I can't get an accurate measurement of things longer than that.
