looks very nice. 5 start for the design! it is very nice and transparent.smiley

only one suggestion from me... i didn't see a selection for searching "Popular Music" on the US store. that's one search that i do use lots, especially for finding album art. could this be included in future versions?

Hi mugget, I will look at it and add the category. Cheers Sascha

The links look better with the color #000066 but otherwise, very nice interface!

The interface will see some improvements in version 2.1 and I will look at the colors. Thanks for the feedback.

Great work, there are only a few things keeping me from using your widget instead of Fast Amazon. While I think your interface is superior to Fast Amazon, that widget actually displays information that I find exceedingly useful while shopping Amazon. These features are:

-director/author/creator etc.
-Amazon price and availability
-3rd Party "new" price
-3rd Party "used' price

all of those things are very valuable to me to choose an item at a glance from Dashboard, now if only you had his extra functionality AND your currently slick interface.

Great work, hope to see more in the future.

I just got the newest version and I'm using 10.4.1.

Overall, this is one good looking widget. Well set up, and gets the job done...almost.

I don't know if I'm unique on this one, but clicking on the images or the titles seems to open up a Safari page explaining that "Safari can’t open the page “” because it cannot redirect to locations starting with “(null):”."

Thus, it's great to see that I can search products through the dashboard, but if I have to manually go to amazon anyway, what good is it?

(I tried that for the US store. The UK store gives a similar result, only Amazon says the link is bad, not Safari. )

If you could fix this, it would be a truly great widget! <(!!<smiley

Hi all, there is a newer version (2.3.1) that is compatible with all Mac OS versions (not only 10.4.2). I uploaded it yesterday but it's still 2.3 here. You can always get the latest version here:

I'd like to see a button to collapse the widget between searches to save desktop real estate. This way I wouldn't have to keep closing it and reloading it to regain that space.

Thanks for updating, it works for me now, although I also upgraded to 10.4.2.

Alset - could what you are saying be achieved by pressing the 'x' in the search input to clear the search (or did you mean retain the search output but minimize the widget)?

Posted by: BagOfHammers on Jul 16, 05 (8:11 PM) for version 2.31 (previous version)

Pressing the 'x' works of course, but you need to redo the search to open it again. I will add a collapse button in the next release.

Would it be possible to have the actual items appear within the widget? Then we'd just go to Amazon to buy it.
