I really like it, nice checking, if the FTP-data is appropriate. Works flawless, will replace my Context-Menu-Shortcut.

The ability to access SFTP servers would help immensely.

Great work, but it needs more status than just a picture of a beam, especially when I'm uploading files of 50 MB or more!

Nice widget, now if you could add SFTP support and make the image smaller (it's taking up a lot of badly needed space) I'd love it smiley

By the way, if you are still in Vienna, meld dich einfach, wenn du Hilfe brauchst smiley

sftp. hmmm. i don't have a sftp account, so i can't test it,..

making it smaller,.. i'll try it.

and finally the status bar, i think this will not be possible, sorry.

I've been trying to make an SFTP widget but it looks like it is impossible, as an automated connection requires enabling public key encryption on the server.

->
q: how to drag a file on the beamer?
a: click on the file you want to upload but don't release the mousebutton, press the key to activate the dashboard (standard: f12) and drag the file on the beamer and drop.

One of the useful Widgets for me!

Can you add an active mode toggle? My ftp server doesn't support passive mode. I usually "ftp -A ftp.*.com" to get my files onto my server.

Excellent widget; does exactly what I need it to. Keep up the good work!

it works well.

only thing is... it asks if i want to overwrite when there is no file to overwrite - the file i'm trying to upload is a completely different file name to what's already on the server? what's up with that. and yeah - some more spiffy graphics would be just great! in fact if you'd like me to help you out with some sleek graphics - just get in touch. =)

yes,.. i don't know what's wrong with the overwrite thing

thx for your help,.. but I haven't worked on widgets for a long time,.. so it would be very much work for me to understand my script again. somewhere is a very ugly bug so it does not work here all the time. i searched for it a long time, but i give up hope. sorry.

if you want to make an other widget out of it, feel free!

the only thing i could offer is that i could make a little app. because i don't like javascript and i can not write it,.. as you can seesmiley

SEIDL. sorry,..
