Miscellaneous - iCheck

Description: Check any website for changes with the click of a button. Also allows you to set the widget to check a url every whatever number of hours, minutes or seconds. You can also manually check for changes. When the text is green, the website is the same as when you first clicked. When the text is red, the website is different. When the website has changed, the widget will stop checking unless you click "go" again. You can also drag-and-drop a url directly from safari to iCheck. To stop the widget, just refresh it.

Hopefully the next version will have different color backgrounds instead of text and a stop button.

Interesting. This would be neat as an app that runs in the background. Checking your sites and alerting you when one has changed. Is there an app like this widget?

Why need an app when you have a widget? smiley

Because this widget doesn't work for me. I have a lot of sites I want to check. Maybe if you added support for multiple sites and then it would show which sites have changed?

We'll see... that's a great idea though. I'll see what I can do. smiley

Yeah, would definately improve with support for multiple apps. Also, from a stylistic point of view, it might be better to have the entry of the url on the back side, and have the url "engraved" so to speak on the front, just think it might look better that way.
