We have a pixel-widget, this, and other crap.... One is funny... Two's a charm... three? Someone will be killed.

I have to agree. Useless widgets like these are flooding the showcase.

How sad is it to be the author of the second or third completely useless widget?

Not just imitating a bad idea, but imitating it slowly!

Just the way it is

Utterly pointless. I don't think this should have been approved by the upload moderators.

Please stop spamming a legitamite site with useless ripoffs of other useless ideas.

to FF: I won't download it but i also don't want this crap on this site so I make a comment just like you did.

The only people who should be concerned about it taking up space is the people developing the site.
I agree - its not the most useful widget in the world. I, like most of you, dislike it. Having said that, viewing and downloading this widget is a choice. You don't have to click on it in the showcase and look at it. You can just scroll past it and forget about it. Don't you think posting here and whinging is just as bad as posting the widget in the first place?

Furthermore, don't you guys have feelings? I mean someone obviously created this to make a statement and it meant something to that person to have spent time in doing it. I just think you're all being a bit mean and harsh. There is no reason to be so rude. Don't like it? Keep it to yourself. There is nothing constructive in what you're saying.

Unless there's another widget with the "intentionally left blank" joke on it, then this is original! THAT is the point of this widget.

I won't use it on my laptop, but I'm glad someone made it smiley

PS, 74 downloads... I hope the author is proud to have produced something that many people actually wanted!

Hey, everyone. This is Andrew, the developer behind the obviously nefarious TWILB. I find it pretty amusing that this little widget has caused so many strong feelings. I, like you, have too many widgets competing for space on my dashboard. Believe me, I don't have TWILB loaded up! This was mostly an exercise in learning how to program widgets. I have three more (so far) posted here, so take a look. I *promise* they're all more useful and fun than this one!

I'd like to have a scalable version.

I'd like to make my whole Dashboard do intentionally nothing.

Posted by: dogma00 on Jun 12, 05 (2:48 PM) for version 1.0 (current version)

Just plain Funny!

But it does remind me of those horrible tests where I would have to fill in bubble after bubble, and turn page after page, and then I would get to one that said this and realize they think everyone taking these tests were idiots.

Thanks for the blank widget!
