Nice design, but I don't see myself compulsively checking domain names. If I did, I would want the widget to display the availability before I went to the order site.

Very nice widget! A WHOIS feature would be very nice too.

Would also be good if it showed up right in the widget if it was available or not (instead of opening up the browser)

I'll definitely look into adding these suggested features in future versions. Thanks for the great feedback! smiley

Pressing the Go! button takes you to a website entirely incompatible with the Mac.

All this does is take you to a web site using a GoDaddy template (is this a reseller based upon GoDaddy? or did they just rip off the web page code?), doing a search for the domain name you entered. Some prices are higher than GoDaddy, some lower. Me, I'd sooner just create a Bookmark Bar link to GoDaddy and buy from a seller I know instead of this one, which I've never heard of.

I've never understood dashboard widgets which simply lead you to the search output of a web page. Whether you open Dashboard or click on a bookmark link, in both cases you enter a search term and wait for the page to load; it's about the exact same amount of work, the same number of steps. Why use a widget if it gains you nothing? It's essentially just a fancy bookmark for a web page.
