| Description: | Ever check your web logs and wonder where in the world is 84.112.1.125? (Answer: Vienna, Austria) How about 202.103.130.12? (Answer: Guangzhou, Guangdong, China) Wonder no more! Through the magic of geolocation, IP Locator takes that mysterious IP address and tells you where that hit to your web site (or intruder on your network) resides. Many thanks to Scott Perry at DNSStuff.com for his willingness to collaborate and serve the geolocation information! |

Miscellaneous - IP Locator

would be cool to map it as well...

You read my mind! We're actually working on a mapping feature. At the moment, the database does not include latitude/longitude information so any mapping would be very crude. Once the DNSStuff.com database is updated, I'll work to put in a graphical display of the locaiton. Thanks for dowloading IP Locator!

How about allowing domains as addresses? For example that I can enter "apple.com"? Shouldn't be too hard I think.

trinket,
Help me make IP Locator the best geolocation widget around! Take 5 minutes to fill out my <a href="http://andrew.hedges.name/widgets/preview.php">"super-short" survey</a> about the next release of IP Locator. Thanks!

I wonder why out of the 10 valid IP addresses I typed, none was returned as valid ?
